Appetizer Recipe INGREDIENTS
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans whole green chilies, drained, rinsed and seeded
  • 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 c. light cream
  • 1/2 c. milk
Appetizer Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover bottom with chilies. Sprinkle cheese over chilies; spread bread crumbs over cheese. Beat eggs until light. Add remaining ingredients to eggs and beat again. Pour over cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes; cut into small squares for hors d'oeuvres or into larger pieces for main course servings.   • 2 stacks Saltine Crackers
  • 1 (8 oz.) package sharp, grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 stick melted butter
  • cayenne pepper, to taste

Brush crackers with melted butter and arrange in a single layer on cookie sheets. Sprinkle grated cheese over crackers and sprinkle cayenne over cheese.
Place under broiler just until bubbly. Don’t let crackers brown too much. Remove from oven. Re-set oven to 180°F and return crackers to oven to (or food dehydrator) and bake for 8 hours.

  • 6 eggplants
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • salt

Cook eggplants whole on all sides, turning as necessary until they are soft throughout & the skin is charred. Set aside to cool for 1 hour. Peel eggplants and discard skin. In a mixing bowl, add lemon juice and tahini. Blend well. Add salt to taste.
Finely chop the garlic cloves and add to mashed eggplant. Stir well and chill.
To serve, place in a flat serving dish and garnish with parsley. Pour olive oil the top. The appetizer recipe is ready to serve...enjoy the dessert !

  • 2 4.5 ounce cans deviled ham
  • 3 tablespoons chopped stuffed green olives
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • tabasco sauce to taste
  • 1 3-oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Appetizer Recipe INSTRUCTIONS
Blend deviled ham, olives, mustard and tabasco. Form in ball on serving dish; chill.
Combine cream cheese and milk; frost ball with mixture. Chill and remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before serving.

  • 1 16 oz package cocktail weiners
  • 1 13 oz can pineapple chunks (in syrup)
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup currant or grape jelly
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple syrup (from can)

Drain pineapple, reserving 2 tablespoons syrup.
In a skillet, sauté all ingredients for 15 minutes on medium high heat.

  • 1 large pkg Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1 large sweet onion, finely minced
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 8 oz smoked salmon or lox bits
Cut the onion into quarters and place into the bowl of a food processor. Process with a few pulses until it is evenly chopped but be careful not to liquefy. Break the cream cheese into 4-5 sections
and add to the processor.
Add the onion powder and garlic powder and process the mixture just until the onions are finely minced.
Cut smoked salmon into strips just large enough to fit on club crackers. Spread the cream cheese mixture on the cracker and cover it with a strip of salmon.
Optional: Top with a sliver of onion or a sprinkle of onion powder.
These can be made into bite-sized stuffed salmon rolls if you roll up the cream chesse mixture inside a small strip of salmon and place each one on a circular cracker. The appetizer recipe of salmon is ready to serve...enjoy it !

* 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
* 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped ripe tomato
Combine mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, artichokes, and garlic powder; blend well. Spread mixture in a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Garnish with the green onion and chopped tomato. Serve with assorted crackers or tortilla chips.

* 2 jars (6 ounces each) marinated artichokes, drained
* 8 green onions, chopped (with green)
* 16 ounces ricotta cheese
* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 4 eggs, slightly beaten
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon dry leaf tarragon, crumbled
* 1/2 teaspoon dry leaf oregano, crumbled
* 1/4 teaspoon dry leaf thyme, crumbled
* 1/8 teaspoon dry leaf sage, crumbled
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 6 sheets filo or phyllo dough
* 1/4 cup melted butter

Coarsely chop the artichokes; combine in a bowl with choppedgreen onion, ricotta, Parmesan, and Monterey Jack cheeses, sour cream, eggs, flour, tarragon, oregano, thyme, and pepper. Blend well.

Brush butter on a layer of filo dough and place in a 9-inch spring form pan, letting it drape up and over sides. repeat with 2 more sheets of filo. (Keep filo covered with a damp cloth while not working with it to keep it from drying out.)

Add cheese mixture to the pan. Trim filo dough; allow the top edge to extend about 1 1/2 inches above the filling. Fold dough over filling and place trimmed scraps on top.

Brush another sheet of filo with butter. fold in half (butter side in) and lay on top of the filling, shaping to fit pan and folding the edges underneath. Brush with more butter. Repeat with the remaining 2 sheets of filo.
Bake artichoke tart at 400° for 20 minutes. Cover loosely with foil and bake 35 minutes longer. Makes 10 appetizer servings, served warm or at room temperature. The great appetizer recipe is ready ! Nice one ! Enjoy it with friends!

* refrigerated or homemade pizza dough, for 12" pizza
* 1 can (16 oz) chili beans, mild or hot
* 5 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled
* 1 small onion, sliced in rings
* 2 cups Mexican-style cheese blend, shredded

Place oven rack in lowest position; preheat oven to 425°.

Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or 9x13-inch baking pan. Press pizza dough into greased pan. Bake for 5 minutes, or until crust just begins to brown. In a bowl combine beans (undrained) onion slices and bacon. Spread bean mixture over the pizza crust. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the bean mixture. * 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

* 2 medium apples, finely chopped (about 1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped finely)

Combine all ingredients; knead until well blended. Form into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned; turn after 10 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen. The appetizer recipe of sausage is ready to serve..enjoy the feasts !

Try this great appetizer recipe... with chopped mushrooms, olives, and green onions, along with Parmesan cheese, sour cream, and pastry...a nice combinations !


* 1 1/2 cups flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup margarine
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
* 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
* 2 tablespoons chopped mushrooms
* 2 tablespoons chopped ripe olives

Mix flour and salt; cut margarine in until mixture begins to form a ball. Blend in sour cream. Divide dough into 4 parts. Wrap each part and chill several hours. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

On floured board, roll each section into a 12 x 6-inch rectangle. Sprinkle one-half each rectangle with either cheese, onion, mushrooms or olives. Fold dough over to make a 6-inch sqare. Cut the 6-inch square into 2-inch squares, pressing edges. Continue until all dough is prepared.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. May be prepared in advance and refrigerated, then baked for 30 minutes. This nice appetizer recipe makes 36 appetizers....great ! Enjoy it !

Broiled Barbecued Chicken Wings

Broiled Barbecued Chicken Wings

  • 16 to 20 chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Wash chicken wings and pat dry. Cut off and discard chicken wing tips; cut each wing in half at the joint. Preheat broiler and oil broiler pan. Line inside of broiler pan with foil to catch drips. Arrange chicken wings on broiler pan. Combine remaining ingredients; blending well. Remove about 1/3 cup of the sauce and refrigerate until serving time. Set aside remaining sauce for basting. Broil chicken wings about 6 inches from heat for 15 minutes, turning frequently to keep them from burning. Brush wings with sauce; turn and brush the other side. Continue broiling and basting for 10 to 15 minutes longer, removing smaller, flatter pieces earlier as needed. This great appetizer recipe is ready to serves 4 persons.
